I am a current patient here at Southwell OBGYN. The staff here always treat me with kindness and respect and are always very friendly when I walk in the door. I am checked in immediately and usually pulled back to the back within 15 minutes of my arrival time, which is awesome! If I call the office, the front desk ladies make sure I get to the right person or I can leave a message and the appropriate staff member will call me back by the end of the business day, usually its sooner. Everyone from the office staff to the medical assistants to the doctors here really make this a pleasurable experience. I would recommend Southwell OBGYN to any woman in South Georgia.
Dr. Clifton has been my gynecologist for over 15+ years! I started seeing him due to having multiple fibroids which was remedied through surgery with no further issues! Once I came home from the hospital, his office called me that following Monday morning to check on me and to see if I needed anything! He is very knowledgeable, caring and through with his patients! I would recommend Dr. Clifton and his staff for all of your OB-Gyn needs!
I’m giving it more than one star ONLY because Dr.Clifton’s nurse was great. The entire front desk staff should be fired for NEVER answering their phones. Not only not answering but also never calling back after leaving a message.
Throughout my pregnancy I was actually please with my care, couldn’t complain until I went into labor. While in labor I then realize how much neglect had gone on. My doctor didn’t do or take half of the precautions he should have. My labor and delivery staff felt blind with lack of information/tests done on me. It was my first baby so I had no idea.
Other doctors here I’m sure are fine. But it doesn’t excuse the incredibly unprofessional front desk staff. That in itself is a reason to go to a different office!!!
I switched from Dr. Temples to Dr. Clifton earlier this year and I am so grateful for Dr. Clifton. I have endometriosis and he diagnosed and scheduled a removal procedure for me within the first visit. He listens to everything i have to say and makes sure I don’t have any questions left unanswered. Going to the OBGYN is never fun or comfortable, but when you have a great doctor who takes you seriously as a woman in pain it helps knowing you will get taken care of.
10/10 recommend Southwell. My entire experience was phenomenal. I chose southwell for my second pregnancy rather that my original OB office and I'm so glad i did! Everyone is so nice and caring. Dr. Clifton was wonderful throughout my entire pregnancy. Nicole was amazing! Choosing Southwell for my second pregnancy, which was also a scheduled c section, was the best decision i ever made. My experience with the thoughtfulness and genuine care at the Valdosta office carried over to my birth experience as well in tifton. I cannot recommend this office and Dr. Clifton enough!
After having a bad experience with our previous provider, we came to Southwell to see Dr. Clifton and we were blown away at the treatment we received. Dr. Clifton and Nicole treated us like family every time we seen them throughout my pregnancy. They provided us with the best care imaginable!! I could not have asked for a better experience! The entire office is so welcoming and have been absolutely wonderful.
Southwell. OBGYN has Excellent doctors who care about their patients. Chasta Stewart is an exceptionally kind and skilled mammographer. Lisa Guest also offers years of experience and professionalism. Lolita has 24 years experience, and I relax knowing that she is doing my blood work.
I appreciate the privacy the set up of this office provides. It is intentional and a great reflection of Drs. Clifton, Temples and Yarborough. We are blessed to have them in our community.
Dr Clifton & his staff are amazing! He has such a warm bedside manner. He made me comfortable in uncomfortable situations and ALWAYS wants to know if I have any questions. He truly listens, advises, and cares!
